Claw Care FAQ

How do I apply press-on nails?

Step 1 - First start with the correct size press-on. If you're unsure of, there are mini numbers on the inside of the nail. The right side should fix your entire nail bed, if you find that all the size are too big, you can slightly file the edges of the nail to fit your nails.
Step 2 - Using the mini nail file in your order, lightly buff the top of your natural nail. This step is important as it's what helps the press-on last longer on your nails. However, if you just want the press-ons on for a few hours then skip this step.
Step 3 - Gently put a small amount of the nail glue on the center of your nail bed and spread it evenly.
Step 4 - Apply the press-on nails from the cutilce tip and apply pressure for the nail to bond properly with the glue. For longevity, avoid putting your nails in water for 30 mins.

Can I reuse my press-on nails?

Yes! With proper removal and care, our Chellie's Claws press-on nail sets can be reused multiple times. Always make sure you're taking care of your natural nail bed in this process.

Will press-ons fit my nails?

Each set includes multiple nail sizes so you can find the best fit for every finger. However, we know there are exceptions to these cases where it might not fit. If that is the case, with a mini nail filer gently file the cuticle area of the press on to fit your nail bed.

How long do press-on nails last?

Depending on application and daily activity, our press-on nails can last from 1-3 weeks.

Will press-ons damage my natural nails?

With everything, when applied and removed properly, our press-on nails should not damage your natural nails. Overtime the nails are meant to loosen or lift so they can come off easeily, please don't forcibly remove the nail.

How do I remove press-on nails?

Your press-ons are meant to loosen up and lift overtime so they can come off easy. However, soak your nails in warm soapy water or cuticle oil and gently lift the edges. Never force them off.
